How Grades Connect to Capability

Historical IAE materials used “signing rights” as shorthand for the level of work independence: none for A, subsidiary for M, independent for S/F. On the public website this is retained only as an internal competency concept; it is not statutory authority in law, regulation, accounting, audit, engineering or any licensed profession.

Formal membership designations are linked to the professional committee, forming Aiae / Miae / Siae / Fiae designations such as CEM, CDAA or CIB.
